RC Nürnberger Land

After several years of searching for a suitable partner club and first contacts with Hungary, Italy and Switzerland, it finally came to an end during the presidency of Helmut Majcen in Bavaria.
In the evening of 3rd June 2002, at the same time, the Rotary Club Nürnberger Land and the Rotary Club Graz-Zeughaus decided to start a partnership and meet in Graz from 25 to 27 October.
On the Austrian national holiday, the 26th of October 2002, the partnership agreement was finally concluded in the Buschenschank Erika in Gamlitz and sealed with the “Leittrinken” according to an old winegrowing ritual.
